A Rose for Mr. Joe Jackson

Mr. Jackson you are one of my Heros and icons. I listen to everyone ridicule you and say what a brute you are.

I say to your critics, if Mr. Jackson didn't have a dream and instill it onto his children, the Jacksons would probably be a family of steel yard workers still in Gary Indiana.

People love to see fine diamonds and gold. In order to have those things you have to create them from their raw material; yes sometimes you have to beat out the impurities to make their brilliance come forth.

I respect your wife and children, but you Sir are my ultimate Hero.

To everyone concerned; When you curse Mr. Jackson in your fine homes, with your fine cars, clothes and money and your children are going to the finest schools and every generation that follows.

And when people admire you just short of a diety; I hope you will take a moment to thank the man who made it all possible for you and these things to happen in between cursing his name.

Mr. Joseph Jackson supported a wife with 10 children as a sole financial provider in a country that spat in his face everyday of his life.

He did whatever it took to take care of his family (which is what real men did in those days). He also used discipline (which is what parents used in those days).

A parent is not your friend, they are your PARENT love or hate Mr. Jackson he will always be your father and you will always be living his dream.

All real parents want their children to surpass them. My Mother was a Joe Jackson Parent. If I ever said can't in her presence she would beat me into an inch of my life hence the word can't is not in my vocabulary.

I'm also guessing this is one of the reasons why I own a very successful clothing and marketing company.

Let's take a moment to see where this, so called, tyrant Mr. Joseph Jackson came from.

Mr. Joseph Jackson was born in Fountain Hill Arkansas, the eldest of four children born July 26, 1929.

His America was un politically correct with unsanitized speech; people called it the way they saw it; ignorance was rampant.

There was no affirmative action, and people had to fight for their right to exist in this country.

But this man had a dream if not for himself..for his family.

The Jackson's are Black America's Kennedys.

So Mr. Jackson, I hope you get to read this blog; I am just a voice in the wilderness that wants to give you a rose to savor the sweet smell of success and inspiration you have given the world even though no one will give you the credit.

I just wanted to give you a pat on the back and a hug and to let you know that I respect you with the utmost respect that can be bestowed on a human being.

Michael Jackson, The World Has Lost its treasure

A Celebrity tribute to Mr. Jackson is at the end of this blog.
You can say whatever you want about Michael Joseph Jackson, but you'd better ad TREASURE in every sentence. The last time I saw America in slow motion like this was when President Kennedy was shot. We also want to send our condolences to the Farrah Fawcett Family.

Everyone has a Michael Jackson Story, here is mine.

I was in Las Vegas backstage at a Glady's Knight / Temptations show. I saw Mr. Frankie Valli and started talking to him about his artwork; an iron gate opened and a gray Cadillac came through.

A man with a veil stepped out and walked by us to go stage left into the audience. Mr. Valli told me "That was Michael Jackson".

That's my Michael Jackson Story. I got this depressing news from a friend of mine, Radio Host Jeffrey Henderson who was very upset when I spoke with him "Michael Jackson is gone" "gone where?" I asked, he told me Mr. Jackson died.
He also told me that there were people walking around in a daze in his Beverly Hills neighborhood like they were in shock.

His death didn't hit me until now. I have seen many great people in my lifetime leave us but have never seen a World Treasure until now.

The entire world has been affected by the passing of Mr. Jackson; the world will never see another human being or force like him again.

This man had no boundaries, people that hate each other with every fiber of their being listened to Michael Jacksons music.

No matter your station in life, economic strata or beliefs, everyone listened to Michael Jacksons music this is why I say we have lost a World Treasure.

We have many national treasures, and icons; and people when they walk into a room cause instant pandemonium, but this is the first and only time in my life I have ever seen a World Treasure.
Let it never be said that there is no value in a human being.
Mr. Jackson had foibles like anyone else, imagine having to live your life in a fishbowl; so i've come to cut him some slack when i've heard of some of his mishaps and will always treasure and admire his talent.
To my readers in the hip hop and rap world remember this as long as you live, Michael Jackson broke down the doors for you in mainstream America if it wasn't for Michael Jackson, you would never have seen a person of color on MTV or VH1; so before you make fun of him you'd better always remember, if it wasn't for him...there would be no you !!!!
A lot of kids are going to college because of that frail little man with enormous talent putting their parents to work.
We at Ringboyz extend our love and prayers to Mr. Jacksons Family.

Rest in Peace King of Pop.

A movie to see before you chat online

First of all let me say, I am in no way being compensated for telling you about this movie called "Net Games" from 2003 I am, however, a closet movie critic, thank God for blogs.

Before you start chatting on the internet, you might want to see this movie, which is Fatal Attraction on steroids, and make sure all your doors are locked.

I'm in the violence and entertainment business and it scared the spit outta me !

Andrew Van Slee and his cast and crew get a Ringboyz Thumbs up !!
Movie Trailer: http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi94175513/

Net Games will make you wonder why it wasn't a blockbuster. It is rated R but for the protection of my kids, i'd let them see it in the raw.

Again this movie should have been a block buster and you wonder why not; the same as why didn't Whoopi Goldberg get an Oscar for The Color Purple, or Al Pacino for The Devils Advocate, or Denzel Washington for Malcolm X

Dunno.

The budget of America

I'm watching C-SPAN with the Republicans whining about this country's budget.

I am a capitalist and believe in self reliance; here is the question....

When Bush was in the Whitehouse, did you fight as fervently to stop putting this country under, or did you fall in line with the rest of the bunch.

I urge every reader of this blog to look at who's doing the most whining, and check their voting records in regards to TARP, This B S war (that President Obama voted against), the regulation of our banks and real estate industries.

You might be surprised. I don't believe in standing in a glass house throwing rocks.

We can fix the economy overnight !!

This is not far fetched President Obama. We are Americans our power and strength is in our diversity and talents; We are a small entertainment company who will be a huge entertainment company in the near future.

What we object to is in this great country you are penalized for being prosperous.

If you want to stimulate this economy and country, GET OUT OF OUR POCKETS !There are 5 economic groups in America:poor, middle-class, rich, wealthy, and Underground (cash only) .The wealthy (investors) make money on everyone elses spending.

Entreprenuers risk their money and when you make a dollar, you have to give 35% to the government (who hasn't given you anything) . We feel that isn't fair and it kills commerce.

The way to fix this economy is a flat 10% tax on all goods and services and stop payroll taxes (less medicaid and social security) ; what would happen is the underground economy in this country would come to the surface and start saving and investing their money into society instead of hiding their wealth offshore.

If there were a flat tax, this sector would start spending their money knowing that what they are buying already has the federal, state, and local taxes already in the price.I would take the I R S and throw it in the garbage where it belongs; they serve no purpose but to kill the American Dream as far as we're concerned.

This system forces people in business to offshore their companies so that you can stay in business. We believe in the trickle up theory. If the masses have money to buy the products you own stock in then everyone prospers. The consumers are happy, business and the stockholders are happy and if you get rid of the taxes on investments and savings, people will invest and save more.

American Business' are forced to offshore their companies for self preservation, if a business offshores for the purpose of greed, we should do like the Japanese and tarriff the spit out of their product and basically boycott their companies for being un-American.I don't believe in nationalism, but i do believe that charity begins at home.We struggle to stay in business and we pay our taxes (even though we feel it isn't fair that we take the risk to put on a show without government handouts), but it is the American thing to do.

No one ever looks at it from a small business persons point of view. The backbone of American business are the Entrepreneurs like ourselves. Once we have the money to put on an event, we hire people (security, the venue, medical, vendors, the talent, licenses etc. etc.) at the end of the night how much profit do you think we make? not much but we keep our good name (this is called growing your company) we are in business, because we love our business.

We love America and have many offers to put on events overseas (which we will do, but we will pay our taxes because that is what a corporate citizen is suppose to do). It's hard to be charitable when you have to be on guard against your government trying to put you out of business because you forgot a piece of IRS paper.

I'm from Brooklyn, New York and when you do all the work and have to share your hard earned profit with someone who hasn't done anything to earn it, we call that PIMPIN'

When you do all the work and are allowed to spend and invest your money as you see fit without being penalized for having money, we call that prosperity.

We at http://www.ringboyz.com/ are not a political company, in fact I as the owner am writing this because i live in a country where i can criticise my government without worrying about a jack-booted thug breaking down my door.

I'm also from Black America (yes there is a separate but unequal America).

I am a child of the 50's ; I've seen America before it became politically correct and sanitized in it's speech.

Hurricane Katrina showed the America i've known all of my life which is why i've always believed in working for myself.

My reason for this blog is to express my hurt to see babies going to sleep hungry and good people who have always played by the rules sliding down the poverty path because of greed; when i was a kid, it was about your color.

In the America i see today you have 2 classes of people, the haves and the screwed. If you don't have...you're screwed; that is not the America i want to leave behind for my family.

I hope you the reader will understand that if we do not come together as Americans and put aside our bickering, we will all perish.

Those who have the means will finish fleecing this great country and leave the masses high and dry to oblivion, whether you sit on this side or that side of the sinking ship, you're going to drown anyway.

So i suggest we stop the pettiness and come together as a country, i have people i don't like in my family, i don't speak to them nor do i wish them ill will, i just leave them alone in peace.

Sincerely,

Kevin Felder, Founder
